October 2nd, 2009 by Caryn

Tonight:

-Watch the Kahuku football team beat Farrington. And while you're there, make sure you drop off a donation for the Samoan/Filipino disaster victims at the OIA's donation booth. JV game starts 5 p.m. at Roosevelt followed by the varsity.

-Check out opening night of PCC's Haunted Lagoon. I went on Weds and it was a total blast! Rides start at 6:30 p.m. Mon, Wed, Fri, and Sat throughout October. Kama'aina tickets $15 adult (age 16+), $10 keiki (age 5- 15) and free for children under 5.

Saturday:

-Kahuku library booksale, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the conference room. A large variety of gently-used fiction, non-fiction and children's books, plus audio cassettes and videos will be on sale from 25 cents to $2.00, and you can fill a bag for $5.00.

-The Tafiti family in Laie will be collecting rice, clothing, blankets, canned food, and bottled water from 1-5 p.m. at their house, 55-150 Pu'uahi Street. They will deliver the goods to the Samoan Governor's office in Kalihi to aid Samoa disaster victims.

-Haunted Lagoon, 6:30-9 p.m. at PCC (for those who chose the football game on Friday)

Sunday:

-Kahuku Library booksale part two, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the library's conference room.
