Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and is gearing up for a fun-filled New Year!

Christmas was wonderful in Ko'olauloa, a little overcast but peaceful and full of family and food. It was our first married Christmas, which made it very special. :) (and even more exciting, as we had TWO Christmases with both of our families!)

I don't know about you, but I'm definitely ready for 2010 and another year to progress and grow.

On Thursday night, we plan to get together with my side to pop fireworks (and eat!). We'll probably drop by at the in-laws as well, since they happen to live on the same street as my parents. Gotta love the perks of living in a small town!

How was your Christmas, and what are your plans for celebrating New Years?

Oh, well...

Monday, December 7th, 2009

We didn't win on Friday night, but it was amazing to see the support from Red Raider nation. On our drive to the stadium, the town-bound lanes of H-3 were SOLID traffic all the way across the mountain. 60% of that traffic took the stadium exit. WOW!

There wasn't much to cheer about during the first half, but when we started to score, I'll be honest: I thought the stadium might collapse! The structure was shaking that violently.

At any rate, congrats to the boys for making it to the final game--I'm sure we'll be back next year! Congrats also to Kamehameha coach David Stant, a La'ie boy and Kahuku graduate.

Be careful out there with the raging seas today!
